CREATIVE ACTIVISM FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day and around the world, people, communities, and organizations are honoring women and raising awareness of women’s issues through various events and gatherings.

Well we know not everyone can leave their daily responsibilities so we’re bringing our “Remix for Maternal Health” event to YOU.

MDGFIve.com houses a “remixer” which allows you to make your own video from your computer, for free.

MDGFive.com is a community of renowned artists from around the world who have decided to use our music, film/video, poetry and photography to raise awareness about women’s health - in particular maternal health.  Around the world over 350,000 women die needlessly in pregnancy and childbirth.  Of all the goals of the UN in improving people’s health and well-being by 2015, maternal health is the one most lagging in progress.

Please join us tomorrow - meet our new contributing artists (you’ll be pleasantly surprised) and make your own video that you can share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and other social medias.
